Puppy Kindergarten & Puppy Group Class Levittown, and Huntington. Puppies have different needs and expectations then older dogs. The impressions we make on a pup will affect the pup for life, as such, we will teach puppies using positive only reinforcement and if you choose, clickers. We spend the time with you teaching what to do and what not to do. We will activly teach topics in a 5 week group setting such as housebreaking, crate training, socialization, teaching basic commands, and how to effectively communicate with the pup. It is Very important to understand that this program does not, and can not replace actual obedience training needed after 4 months of age. The pup must be less than 18 weeks to attend this class. This is a 5 week course that is intended to be a more affordable alternative to private lessons and people to get started with training. We most likely won't have the same level of training our private lessons do, but its a great way to handle a few problematic issues, or at least get things started in the right direction.

This 5 week course is leash based and we used either Martin Gale, or prong collars, depending on the dog's sensativity and stregnth. We'll teach Come, walking on a loose leash, Sit, Off and Leave it. around other people and dogs. Class size is limited to 10 dog /handler teams per trainer and the cost is $150

Introduced on 5/15/11 - For years, many of our clients were thrilled after lesson #2 and felt they had gotten their money's worth in just two lessons. They still had more coming, and then they had lifetime group classes to look forward to. We're thinking that if we can make people very happy in two lessons, maybe we can save them some money and make them even happier!!

In the first 2 lessons we often accomplish walking without pulling, stopping jumping on things and people, counter surfing, and introduction to other dogs, a good come and sit command. Come, Sit, Off, Leave It, and dog distractions are the goals of this new lower cost House Manners program. The program can use either traditional leash traning or the popular off leash training collar included, up to a $250 value. We include the training equipment, 2 private lessons in your home or office, and 2 tickets to participate in our of our weekly group classes.

Once again, we're the first to offer a new service in the NY area. After visiting our group class, if you would like what you see, and want to go further, we'll give you the opportunity to take your training up a few levels, upgrade to a few more private lessons, and unlimited Lifetime group classes. the In Home Trainng program is the program that we started with back in 1999. Its by far the most chosen progrem of all time. We send a Dog Trainer to your home to assist you and your family in training the family pup. Young or old, hyper, friendly or aggresive, we train the most dogs with In Home Training.

Due to the variety of personalized requests we get with this program, we offer Free Evaluations to everyone before signing up. The program can be customized to include just the basics, or some advanced training as well. With this program we've helped people certify Therapy Dogs, train Service Dogs, personal protection dogs, and we've even been spotted in the fields of eastern Long Island assisting people train Bird Hunting Dogs.

This is also includes our "Lifetime Membership" wehre the group classss are included free for the life of the dog.

This is our second most popular program where peope who are very busy, vacationing, or even have disabilities, send their dog to us for two weeks and the dog trainers work with dog for them. We bring the dog home trained both on and off leash, most often walking down a street full of distractions, offleash!

Due to the "Holy Cow! I Cant believe my dog is this well behaved" factor, we get many referrals from clients to Board and Train (sometimes known as the train and stay) dogs and give the family a good head start with training. We offer follow up lessons in the home, and the "Lifetime" Group classes are included. A Free Evaluation is needed to determine the specifics of training prior to sending the dog or obtaining prices.

Daycare and train is the third "Lifetime" training program. Some people need to have the dog trained for them but dont want the pup anywhere but home at night. This was the solution. This is a Mon-Fri 3 week program. People drop off the pup for training and daycare every morning, and pick up a tired dog in the evening.

We spend the day training, playing, and socializing with the dog. Every Friday a Best Friends Dog Trainer will give the owners a lesson. It seems to work out well for people who live or work in the Farmingdale, Massapequa, and Melville area.
