Group Classes and Gatherings. Group Class is a place we own or rent for class and People can do the entire class off leash. Gatherings are ususally public locations that allow dogs, but by law, must be on leash. We can not control who comes into close proximity at the gatherings.
Farmingdale Group Class(Wednesday) and Kennel
Kennel visits by appointment only please. No appointment needed to attend Group Class Wednesday at 7:30pm
From the South:
Southern State Parkway To Exit 32 North (Route 110). At the second light, make a right onto Allen Blvd. Go 4 blocks and make a Right onto Grand Ave. Make the 1st Left onto Marine St. The address is 114 Marine St Farmingdale. It's the third building on the left.
From the North:
Long Island Expressway or Northern State Parkway to Route 110 South. Stay on Route 110 several miles until you pass Route 109. At the second light after Route 109, you will make a left onto Allen Blvd. There will be a White Castle Express and a U-Haul on the corner. Stay on Allen Blvd for 4 blocks and make a Right onto Grand Ave. Make the 1st Left onto Marine St. The address is 114 Marine St Farmingdale. It's the third building on the left.
Wantagh Group Class Saturday
We train here every Saturday from 10am -11am March - December. Jan and Feb we are in Farmingdale on Sat mornings. Please feel free to come and watch, meet the trainers, and our clients. Everybody will be happy to help you and most importantly, you can see results from our training programs. In the case of possible rain, we will post on the muttmanners website where the class is by 9am. A notification will also be sent through the Best Friends Yahoo group for our clients.
From the North:
Southern State Parkway to exit 28 (Wantagh Ave) South. Go south about 1.5 miles and make a left onto Park Ave. About 100 feet on the left is an entrance to a Municipal Parking Lot. Turn into the lot and go to the end. There will be a field in front of you.
From the South:
Sunrise Hwy to Wantagh Ave. Turn North and go under the train tracks. Make the right at the light (Park Ave). About 100 feet on the left is an entrance to a Municipal Parking Lot. Turn into the lot and go to the end. There will be a field in front of you.
SATURDAY Group Class WADING RIVER
This group class happens 10am Saturdays in Wading River. This si held on Private property, so if you are a client, please email us for directions to the location or check the yahoo message board as well. .
SUNDAY Gathering Bayshore
A trainer will train here Sunday from 10am-11am, March through December.
SS parkway to Robert Moses Pky South Take RM pky to the Montauk Hwy East (thats Merrick Rd for all the Nassau County people). About 1.5 miles on the right is the entrance to Garderners park.
After Training people often walk the dogs down to the beach for a swim.
SUNDAY Gathering Queens-
**This class is postponed until Spring of 2010** A trainer will be at the Park at 76th ave and Springfield Blvd from 10am-11am. It is the back end of Alley Pond Park 4 blocks north of Union Tpk,
and Dogs are allowed. NYC strictly enforces their leash law and we suggest anyone who wants to meet at this location to have their dogs on
leash. There is plenty of parking and shade at this location.
